Airtel has released 5G in major cities around India. I was excited that my handset would be able to support 5G. But when I opened the Airtel App it showed that the manufacturer has to release a software update on 5G. I was upset. I searched for solutions but didn't find anything.
If they still need to roll out the update on 5G software for ASUS ROG Phone 5s, please do it soon.

Strange your problem, there is much need for an update but from Airtel for 5G SA mode, meanwhile the Rog5s must work in 5G NSA with the following frequency bands.

The 5G bands are those of the ROG5s version C according to the ASUS site, published at the release in Android 11, it is to be hoped that asus did not break them with Android 12 🙂
If you are good in NSA and it still does not work, try a manual search for the 5G network, it should show you the Airtel 5G and 4G antennas then go back to auto
