Screen unresponsive during Whatsapp Audio Call

When ever some one calls or I call using whatsapp audio call, my entire screen becomes unresponsive and I won't be able to disconnect the call as well. Until unless other end person disconnects the call my screen will be blackout and even unlock button won't work.

Any remedies ?

It happens to me in others situations and usually I solve by clicking multitasking button (I don't use gestures)

Hi Thanveer,
Can you check if its linked to Proximity sensor.
Go to Dialer => Tap on 3 dots => Calling screen => Turn off Proximity.
If the issue gets fix. Maybe your Scratch guard/Tempered glass if applied is causing this issue.
Clear calling App cache and data and check again
