ROG Phone 3 Broken Screen

I dropped my phone screen broken, but phone still works, is there any way I can still recover stuff from the phone? I bought a ROG Phone 7 to replace it but I can't use the clone tool because I can't unlock the broken screen

They sell replacement screen parts everywhere online then take part and broken phone to your local repair shop

I've already bought a replacement... this doesn't answer my question at all. I want to know if there's a way I can get access to the phone without use of the screen

Use a USBC to display port into a PC monitor or USBC to hdmi

Or use the Asus phone dock, has video output and Ethernet etc, I have one that's being used

If I do that I just see the ROG logo on my tv, is there something else I need to do?
