I have brought device August 12 ,2020 through flipkart first sale at 6auhust. I was very happy until i open netflix ,it has vert bad black crush issue even at full brightness ,in 50pecent brightness colour washed out heavy black crush issue is this hardware or software issue??anyway im just gonna refund ....but i asked some of YouTubers they have none issue ,but for fellow customers only have this😓. I decided to live with this but some of units have no issue why i wanna live with this issue for years so i try to get refund and but 12gb varient.
In YouTube crush issue is little low when compared to netflix and amazon prime ,rather than that this dev is beast 😍
I have noticed heat in aero active coller side(40°to43°) always while playing pupg at 90hz,balanced,extream . although I'm staying in AC room 22°c all time!

Yes .. I see the power and volume buttons having some travel.. Its noticeable ..

That's not an issue

By the way various factors come into play when you talk about sot as in the brightness percentage you were playing at,mode of internet connection (mobile data consumes more battery compared to wifi) and the ambient temperature

But could you contact the devs for a software updates that includes battery optimization and a 60fps recording setting in the inbuilt recorder
Cause i have been playing pubg and it is only being recorded in 30 fps
Btw 6000 mah and 5 hrs is good as it gives constant 60 frames but i expected more but i am totally satisfied
But i really would like a 60fps recording setting in inbuilt recorder
So plzzz convey my message

5 hrs of sot is pretty ok , still software needs optimization then a tip even at very high graphic it drains same so tweak up high and push fps to 90 enjoy ultraa pro plus mega smooth games play ,get a glove coz its goes up to 45°😂😂 and i have used both rog and now OnePlus 8 pro it gives only 3:30hrs 30% per hour drain 😐

I have a vivo v11 pro and that gives 5 and a half hours backup on smooth and high(30fps) frames
With mobile data which is good but nowadays the vivo is giving around 4 hrs cause the phone is 3 yrs old. I am not comparing two companies though i am just telling that ASUS can increase the battery backup by a lil bit.

My return period will end on 2nd September.. Still no guarantee about black crush whether it's a hardware issue or not. Don't want to risk my money. Kindly understand our situation. First time I bought a phone this much expensive and this happened 😔 Really loved the phone except this issue. But no other option except to return the device. Hopefully in future I'll get a good quality Asus phone.
