Double Tap to Wake not working

Please tell us some basic information before asking for help:
ROG Phone 3
Firmware Version - i could not find
not rooted
Frequency of Occurrence: Every time
I am using ROG phone 3 just received a brand new phone yesterday and i am facing the same problem as mentioned above. Double tap to screen off is working properly but Double tap to screen on and Swipe up to wake up is not working at all.
is this because of my Tampered glass? Or there is a problem with my Phone.


Gestures on Dark screen like W,S,Z to launch different apps are also not working. Inshort once the phone is locked/in idle mode none of the gestures work. Except 'lift to check phone'
is there something i am missing out or doing wrong. Please need help with this issue ASAP

hey ARP_ASUS, this seems to be a Software issue.

double tap to sleep is working

Tilt to wake is working

However double tap to wake is not working.

The option is enabled in Gesture settings.

please help us escalate this issue. This is a basic feature.

Same isse here too .. no off display gestures are working..

@Gustav_ASUS @ARP_ASUS i remember i used to use double tap to wakeup and two finger slide for music control in prev firmware after updating to recent firmware 0.58. these are all not working.

Not sure about the issue, dt2w works for me everytime. I am also on .58

i am facing the same issue. Double tap to wake is not working. Firmware - Version WW-17.0823.2007.58

I do not have any tempered glass on the phone.

Double tap to sleep is working fine

I'm sorry no one has followed up on this issue. I will take it from here and send you all a PM with instructions on how to log your device.
Make sure you're all at the latest .70 fw in case it has already solved your bug
