Gustav_ASUS5g is definitely enabled, from what I've seen in the forums, there is 0 support from Asus for the ROG 2 and 3 for 5g or volte in Australia, even though it's advertised as having ithttps://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/154677#Comment_154677
That does not sound right. Have you enabled '5G Network' under Settings -> Network & internet -> Mobile network? Please also double-check if your carrier has any additional requirements for 5G. (Specific data plan, additional registration etc.)

Gustav_ASUSSo While Vodafone have an "approved 5G device list", there are several phones that ARE NOT on that list, that work with 5g no problem what so everhttps://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/154677#Comment_154677

botboy444Telstra (Australia's biggest Telco) and Optus don't seem to have working 5g either,, the 3 Telco's in Australia, with the other smaller ones piggybacking off the Telstra, Optus or Vodafone. this isn't a single Telco not having the right config issue, this is a DEVICE issue.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/154727#Comment_154727
so, doing some further reading, 5G wont work unless the device is an "approved device" on Vodafone Australia
I'd suggest that Asus phones aren't sold or advertised (in Australia at least) as having 5G unless they can actually get approved to do so, because that's against the ACCC (Australian Competition & Consumer Commission) , and can be a very big legal issue for the company
I highly suggest that this gets passed on, and that you look into
https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/advertising-promotions/false-or-misleading-claims
and
for further information, and that these devices added to the approved list, or a complaint will be made, as again, it is false advertising, and VERY illegal in Australia 🙂
