Reset OS: I've restored this laptop a few times

Detailed description： The WIFI no longer works after an update. I can only get internet via an ethernet cable. I don't when or why this happened. The WIFI worked when I first got the laptop. Help me please.

Hello flux,
May you specify what kind of update it was? Windows? driver? BIOS?
So you can still choose the hot spot but can not connect to it? or you can not find any hot spot?
is there any error message for the connection or in device manager?
