Did anyone try using Asus ROG Strix GO 2.4 with a Pixel 6?

I am getting an open-box headphone for C$60, should I go for it or will that have connection issues with my Google Pixel 6? I also have an Asus TUF F15 i7 12th gen RTX 4050 laptop but the primary usage will be with the Pixel 6. I heard that this headphone needs a dongle plugged in for it to connect, that's fine with the laptop but it'll be a big hassle with the smartphone. Any suggestions?
