Cannot register motherboard, keep getting incorrect serial number message

i made a purchase off of Amazon on the first of january in 2021, today i figured i would try to register my motherboard, but when i enter the serial number it says its incorrect, i no longer have the box so i am pulling it from cmd. i can provide the invoice and everything if it means i am able to register my board.
