I have an ASUS fx505gt gaming laptop that suddenly had a booting issue. Whenever I plug in the charger and press the power button it does nothing, and when I remove the charger, the charger light indicator stays on so I had to hold the power button for like 20-30 seconds to remove it. After power draining, pressing the power button still does nothing but after 2-3 minutes the laptop suddenly comes back to life. I tried replacing the CMOS battery but the problem still persists, reseating the RAM sticks and using running the laptop with no battery(DC) doesnt fix it either. After booting, I noticed the time is the time when I last shutted off my laptop, meaning it didn't synchronized with the current time, please help.

Based on your description, the issue may be caused by a problem with the motherboard.
Since your product may be out of warranty, you can try restoring the system first to eliminate whether it is caused by a software issue.
However, if the problem persists, we would recommend sending the laptop for repair for further investigation.

Here are few tips to fix this problem:
1. Run troubleshoot
2. Check your RAM for fault.
3. Check if your system is not overheated
4. Few corrupted files can also cause this issue so it's better to delete them.
