Reset OS: It won't reset.

Detailed description: I have used this on and off over the last 13 to 14 months with both a MacBook Pro and a Dell laptop. This morning, it won't power on or wake up. Blue light shows, but is unresponsive. I have tried holding down the power and menu buttons to reset, but that does not do anything.
