Asus Tri Band AX6600 won't upgrade firmware

Bought the Triband Wifi Router AX6600.  Hooked them up, seem to be working OK I guess. Not super thrilled with range.  Using one as a node.  That one won't upgrade the firmware.  Says there is an update, get an error message.

Location : Guest Room

Current Version : 3.0.0.4.386_25790-gd414187

New version I downloaded:   3.0.0.4.388_23285-g5068da5

Tried manually as well, still get an error.
