I purchased an ASUS router specifically for its advertised VPN promotion, but after nearly two weeks and repeated follow-ups, I still haven’t received the VPN code.
Each time I contact support, I’m handed off to a different agent who asks me to “wait another 2 business days,” but no one takes real ownership or offers a solution. I’ve been in contact with at least four different representatives, and none have provided any progress or accountability.
As someone who works in technical support myself, I find this level of service unacceptable. I had high expectations for ASUS as a brand, but this experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and deeply disappointing.
If ASUS can’t honor their own promotions or resolve a basic support request in a timely manner, I’ll be returning the product and taking my business elsewhere.
