I have an ASUS RT-AX58U that has an unknown device connected to my guest network. I can't figure out what it is, so I blocked internet access to it thinking it would would cause something to stop working or make it go away. However it has not gone away and nothing seems to be complaining of lack of connectivity. Any ideas how I can track this down?

Hi @Frugalfart ,
Thank you for your inquiry.
Regarding your concerns about network security, we recommend that you take the following steps to enhance management:
- Modify Guest Network Settings: Please log in to your router's management interface and navigate to the "Guest Network" settings page. Within the Guest Network settings, you can modify the SSID (network name) and password of the guest network. By setting a unique and strong password for your guest network, you can ensure that only authorized devices can connect to it.
- Restart your Router: After modifying the SSID and password of the guest network, please restart your router to ensure that all configuration changes take effect and to clear any potentially existing temporary connections.
- Network Scanning Tool: You can try using a network scanning tool to scan your network, which may help you identify more information about the unknown device.
By following the above steps, you should be able to effectively enhance the security of your network.
If you encounter any issues during the process or have any other concerns, please feel free to contact us at any time.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Wednesday
I guess this is the easiest solution. I was hoping to track it down and find out what it is but I guess that's not going to happen.
