I bought the RT-BE92u next week and had following issues after setting up the router.
Firmware version 3.0.0.6_102_37025-g530f5da_954-gd3ae6
1. VPN Server IPSec Client connect may cause the router reboot itself, even sometimes can connect but cannot browser the internet.
2. If any clients joined the 6hz channel. It will not possible to turn off Smart Connect to manually adjust the Wifi channels settings. Click Smart Connect OFF button and then Apply but no response, cannot switch to the Channels setting page until all clients disconnect from the 6hz channel.
2. One of the CPU coil always stay at 100% usage. It may happen on any of 4 coils randomly. Reboot the router may fix but not absolutely work.
4. Adjust settings may hang the router, need manually power off and on.
Any members had these issues ? I had reported to Asus support but no positive reply, just telling me they had no such issues.
Thanks in advance.

I have the same instability problems, and the same CPU system, but in addition sometimes the access to the administration web is lost or the DHCP or DNS service is lost. I have the MLO disabled

Do a firmware update to BBOB and then hard reset. I haven't had an issue for two weeks now. Stable as stable can be.

Done, but the symptoms continue. The log shows "GET STA INFO failed, -21" and according to copilot it seems to be a problem with Broadcom drivers. It seems that the firmware is quite buggy. I also have the feeling that it gets much worse if I open the administration page, it even restarts the router.

Sorry to hear that. If you are positive it's the Asus router and not anything else, the computer you are connected or a switch between the router and you, reach out to tech support directly. The one time my router died they just did an RMA. Good luck 🤞

I also experience the 100% issue with one of the 4 threads even with original firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_36985.
Rebooting the router helps restore the usual low CPU percentage, but something will trigger the 100% CPU thread load again.
