Hi, I have turned on FTP so I can access my harddrive I have connected to it. But when I login it says FTP FOLDER ERROR - Windows cannot access this folder.
I can see the harddrive and all the files in the router settings. So what gives?
All I want is to be able to access my hard drive from my study and my laptop in my workshop. They are both on the same router in the same building. I don't need anything fancy. But I have tried a bunch of suggestions from other places and nothing is working.

I am attaching a screen shot of the settings from a GT-BE98 Pro. (It only allows one so I chose Samba). I am able to access the drive on Windows 10 File Explorer. Did a pop-up asking for user and password? It's supposed to unless you enable Guest login as I have shown.
Also I got a pop-up on Edge that Network Discovery needed to be turned on, which I clicked the line and turned on.

Yes, after I put in credentials I get that error.
Other than enable guest login my settings are the same. Network discovery is on. I turned off all my firewalls.

Try admin admin. If not I'm afraid you'll need to enable Guest Login due to firmware bug...
