Hi,
I just bought a couple of EBP15 on the basis of recommendations online.
I've upgraded to the latest firmware, which was 3.0.7.18 at the time of writing.
I've discovered a really annoying problem ...
If you change the IP address on the device from the default 192.168.1.50, it no longer responds to ping on the new address. You can connect to it on the new IP via HTTP/HTTPS, but nothing from ping.
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one seeing this, so wonder if anyone has a work-around for this?
Can anyone at ASUS confirm this is a known problem and a fix is on its way?
Thanks
ChIP
