BE30000/BQ16 Pro - Wireless devices showing in client list as wired

CMitchell
Star I

As the subject states, some devices show as wired, and often times "connected" to an AP that makes no sense, not the closest. Is there any way to clear this? Latest firmware, rebooted network, devices, etc. Some seem temporary, and others are always showing in this manner. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi @CMitchell ,

thank you for reaching out. Regarding the issue you encountered, we recommend checking the following:

  1. Log in to the router's management interface and check if there is a new firmware update available.
  2. If the issue persists after updating the firmware, try restoring the router to factory settings. Please note that resetting will erase all configurations, so be sure to back up any important settings beforehand.
  3. If you are using the AiMesh feature, try temporarily disabling it to see if the issue is resolved.
  4. Try switching to a different wireless channel to avoid interference from other devices.
  5. Disconnect your device from the router and reconnect it to see if the connection stabilizes.
  6. If you have other devices available, try connecting them to the router to check if the same issue occurs.

If the problem persists, please feel free to contact us for further assistance. Thank you.
