Hello All, I am facing a weird issue. I have 4 Asus ET8 setup as a route and yhe rest nodes. Back haul via ethernet connected to a gig switch. It use to work perfectly where all the bands were showing. 2Ghz, 5Ghz and 6Ghz and I had my phone connected to the 6Ghz and showing 6E and if I would move around the house it would transfer the phone to different nodes. Recently I started noticing that even though the wifi 6Ghz is enabled only the ET8 that assets as the main router works with 6Ghz the nodes don't work for 6Ghz it will not display it but setting shows that it's enabled and on. When I go close to the main router ET8 it connects to 6Ghz instantly. Not sure what is happening and my suspension is something was messed up.after a firmware update came thru. Any assistance would be appreciated. I did a factory reset and still the same.

Sadly I don't see admin/moderator involvement in this thread... I know there was some kind of security issue across the router lineup that they were working on, and some bugs have developed on my system of other model ASUS routers...
I reread this and hopefully this may help, at least for those who have Ethernet Backhaul. Try enabling Ethernet Backhaul Mode:
Under General -> AiMesh -> System Settings (tab) -> Ethernet Backhaul Mode (toggle)
This seems to have helped in a BE router setup where clients would not move to the node so I am hopefull/crossing my fingers...

Yea that is what I currently have my setup as. All nodes backhauled via ethernet to a 8 poet gig switch and the main node connects to the gig switch.

I am also having the same issues. Sad to see that Asus hasn't been communicative about this issue.
I have 2 hw 1.0 ET8s and I am only getting the 6 GHz signal from the main router ET8 and backhaul, but I dont think i can even get wifi devices that are 6E capable to connect to the main router ET8. I've tried rolling back the firmware (but only to the September one b/c I didnt realize it was an older issue too) and that didnt work. Ive messed with a bunch of the settings to no avail.
I've also used a wifi analyzer and found that there's not even a 6 GHz signal coming from the radio of the ET8 that is in our office. It only picks up the main router.
I also have a single hw 2.0 ET8 that I picked up more recently. That one seems to be working just fine with its latest firmware. I am getting its Wifi 6E signal. I may just swap it for the one in my office, but that wont solve the issue entirely.

Does anybody know where I can get a mirror of the 3.0.0.4.388_23759 firmware? I'd like to at least try rolling back to that to see if I can get the 6ghz running on the nodes again.
p.s. I'm running an AXE-11000 main w/ 2 ET8's as nodes and experiencing the same issue. Spent a fortune for this setup to be the best available and here we are with no support to speak of.

Rolling back the firmware won't help. But if you must try. Asus has it posted.
