Attempting to connect a Brother HL-L3230CDW (wirelessly) to a Zenwifi BT8 network.

I have a printer that can't be conveniently placed next to the router. On my older router, nothing much had to be done with the printer to make things work: open the Wifi setup wizard, select the (2.4GHz, wireless-N) SSID, enter the network password, and the printer connected to the network in the space of a few seconds.  The BT8 doesn't want to place nice!

My printer says that the WLAN access point/router can't be found (most frequent error), or the incorrect security information was given (network password, infrequently).  I've attempted to set up things when the router is located at the service entrance as well as less than four feet away.

Here's my network setup (all the SSIDs are different):

net_1: 2.4Ghz frequency, Wifi7 mode off, MLO fronthaul setting off, WPA/WPA2-Personal authentication, TKIP+AES encryption on, no wifi scheduling, MAC filter disabled, SSID visible, AP isolation mode off.

net_2: 5GHz frequency; same as above with just "AES" encryption set.

net_3: 6GHz frequency, same as 2.4GHz with the following exceptions: wifi7 mode on, WPA3-Personal authentication, AES+GCMP256 encryption. 

net_guest: 2.4 & 5 GHz frequency, most of net_1's settings except for WPA2-Personal authentication, AES encryption, bandwidth limits off, AP isolation mode on. The AIMesh setting is checked off for all three frequencies. (I do not have a second BT8; the router, when I uncheck the box, says that the field can't be left blank).

The printer uses AES for encryption, and attempts to connect to the net_1 SSID (it can't see the other SSIDs). 

I've changed a few settings prior to the final settings seen above, without success. I have Amazon firesticks and a TV box; PCs, and cellphones that have no issues linking up with any of the SSIDs.

Any suggestions?

Try to set the WPA2-Personal, AES and N only in 2,4 GHz band. My 2 printers Brother and Epson are working with this setting on a XT9 mesh perfectly although are 8 respectively 5 years old.

Also try to asign a fixed IP and add the printer to computer via IP

I had the same problem with a new BQ16 and my old HP printer. It would not connect after finding the network.  A Valdo suggested: Changing the password setting on the router to WPA2-Personal sorted the issue.

I've tried a few setting as suggested (but not everything, tonight was not a good night to try). I'll see what I can do over the weekend.  I did learn that the BT8 can set a band to use, but not a particular wireless protocol (802.11n in this case; the printer is the same). The Brother printer can only do a "WPA/WPA2-Personal" security setting. The router log shows attempts of associating and de-associating with my printer.  As soon as I figure out what info to post, I'll upload an excerpt.
