ROG sent me over here for my cheap low-end Z790-V Prime mobo

My Z790-E is in the mail but meanwhile I thought I'd ask: what is it that puts out a loud tone when you overheat your cpu. (yes, I know all about cooling and sufficiency and have more than sufficient parts on the way). But a week ago I was benching and it overheated and put out a tone. Esc stops it and any possible damage. Today I ran one and again that same tone sounded and again I pressed Esc. I will wait for parts to arrive before doing further testing.

I am a geek so don't want "suggestions. Been around computers since '62(IBM). But, unless it is hyper miniaturized, i9-13900K's don't come with loudspeakers. Nor do mobos (they used to come with a little one for POST codes but now they are too cheap to do that so I added my own), but it's not from that. It's not coming into my realtek audio system to be played through my external base speakers. Nope.

Baffled!!! Poltergists??? Where is it coming from VLS??? or whatever?

remember this is a cheap low end mobo so it doesn't matter.
