[ProArt Z790 creator wifi] Integrated GPU display issues

Kinjin

Hello,

I've just built a new system with a ProArt Z790 Creator WiFi board and an Intel Core i9-14900K. I do not have an external/discrete video card (just wanting to use the integrated GPU on the processor). I am having issues getting the display to work. I purchased an LG 24MP60G monitor (has DisplayPort and HDMI output). When I try to use the HDMI port, I get the following message:

"A new external input has been connected. Do you want to use this? HDMI" and it has a Yes and a No button on the screen. I've tried clicking with my mouse (usb, wired) and hitting ENTER on the keyboard but there's no mouse cursor, and nothing happens. After a few moments the message changes to:

"No Signal Entering the power saving mode shortly"

The only Q-LED light that is on is the BOOT (Yellow Green) light, which makes sense as I have not been able to install an OS on the hard drive, since I cannot get anything to display on the monitor.

I do seem to be having another problem. On boot, the AMI BIOS screen displays a message that says:

"Please ensure to fully connect at least ONE 8-pin ATX_12V connector to the PSU for system stability. We strongly recommend connecting ALL ATX_12V connectors under heavy usage."

The system seems to be running fine, but I'm concerned something is wrong. I am using a Corsair RM1000e power supply, and I have all the power connections plugged into the motherboard as shown in the motherboard user manual (Chapter 1 section 5, pg24 in the link you provided previously).

Hello, @Kinjin

May I ask if both power connectors labeled B and C are correctly connected at present?
We recommend verifying these two connections again to ensure a stable and secure power supply from the PSU.

Thank you.

Thank you for your response Jiaszzz_ASUS!

Both B and C were connected securely- I actually had A, B, C, and D all connected, and the issue remained. I tried a different PSU and had the same issue, so I replaced the system board and the new replacement is working perfectly.
