HB1M K Motherboard CPU compatibility

I have a HB1M K ASUS motherboard and was wondering if an i7 4790k processor would fit and work in this motherboard. Any help would be appreciated.

According to the official support page for the H81M-K, the CPU Core i7-4790K is listed in the CPU QVL and the compatible BIOS versions are 0805 and later.
