I'm using one of my machines with the mentioned monitor. It is a dual boot system. Running Windows 11 Pro and Ubuntu 24.04. Both systems handle well the monitor. But no matter how many times I set the brightness via the system it always resets to 65% brightness on restarts. The machine has several connectors and I have several cables. Also tested with other machines. Tested in all possible combinations, but the result is always the same.

1. Yes, from the beginning.
2. Done already.
3. The monitor is connected in many ways and tested with many machines.
So it is not connecting simultaneously to more than one machine. Looks like the monitors firmware overwrites or just not storing the brightness after restarts. It should store the last state even if it set through the OS. But it changes back to the "standard" 65%.

Are you entirely sure that sending it into service make sense? If I set the brightness on the monitor itself (for example to 0) it will revert 0 on every restarts. Are there ANY settings or presets can prevent or block by default if I modify the setting on OS level? I mean is looks like it can store the settings without any issues. But maybe the OS controls differently the monitor or something like that.
