Bought two Pro Art 27" Monitors for my photography a month ago, but can't get either to work on Alienware PC. Troubleshooting guide does not help. If I plug my old 27" dell monitor in with the Displayport cable, works fine. I can change the cable to connect to the Asus and once or twice it worked. However, as soon as I attach Asus and Reboot and PC just keeps beeping and won't boot (6 beeps meaning Video card/chip failure).
So PC (dell6core i7) works fine with Dell 27" monitor, but not with Asus 27", both using Displayport.
I have checked the cables and selected displayport on the OSD menu, no help. I am guessing I will need to change the video card, which is a GeForce GTX760ti. It has a maximum resolution of 2560x1440. Could that be the issue?
Thought it might need a driver installed, but if it halts at Bias, this is before the driver.
Any Help appreciated

Hi
You will be pleased you know that I have a resolution and so I will post my findings in case it helps others.
(1) The monitors were not broken and were functioning correctly. Thankfully I dd not package them and send them back as suggested.
(2) The issue was either on the motherboard or in the bias program, it simply didn't like the state of one of the pins when DP is connected. The problem was with Alienware Dell PC and they were not interested in any support.
My Resolution was to connect a display using DVI (remember I purchased a second Nvidia grahics card). When the PC has booted, I use a DP switch to switch in the Asus monitors and they work well.
Resolution was never the issue.

Hi @ANDY_ASUS ,
Regarding the issue you mentioned with your Alienware computer not working properly with two ProArt 27" monitors, we would like to confirm the following details with you:
- Monitor Model and Firmware Versions: Could you please share the model of your ProArt 27" monitors? What are the current firmware versions for both monitors?
- Resolution and Refresh Rate Settings: You mentioned that the GTX 760ti supports a maximum resolution of 2560x1440, while the ProArt 27" monitor may default to 4K or a higher refresh rate. This might cause the GPU to struggle with output. Please try the following:
Before connecting the ProArt monitors, set your computer's display output resolution to 2560x1440 and restart the computer.
If the monitor's default refresh rate is 120Hz or higher, try reducing it to 60Hz. - BIOS Update: Please ensure that your Alienware computer has the latest BIOS version installed.
- Driver Update: If you are also using a Dell monitor, download and install the latest NVIDIA drivers to ensure the GTX 760ti is running the latest version.
- Hardware Limitations: As the GTX 760ti is an older graphics card, it may not fully support the functionality of the ProArt monitors. If the above methods do not resolve the issue, consider testing with a different graphics card.
Thank you.

Under Settings->Information:
PA279CRV
MCM103
Not sure if that's the version number, I cannot see anything that says version number.
Tried setting to
3840 x 2160 (the resolution that the dell supports) and
2560 x 1440, neither work.
The dell works at 3840 x 2160
