Hi @wedra ,
we understand that you're having trouble with your "C" key not working individually, but combination keys like Ctrl+C, Shift+C, and Func+C work fine.
Here are some possible solutions, please try them one by one:
1. Software:
- Input Method Conflicts: Try switching to a different input method or temporarily turning off the input method to see if the problem is resolved. Check the input method settings for any conflicting hotkeys.
- Background Programs Interference: Close all unnecessary background programs, especially those related to keyboards or input.
- Driver Issues: Although you mentioned updating the drivers, I suggest you double-check: Ensure the keyboard driver is up-to-date.
Other Related Drivers: Check for other drivers that may affect keyboard functionality (such as USB drivers).
- Viruses or Malware: Run a full system scan with antivirus software to rule out the possibility of viruses or malware.
2. Hardware:
- Carefully clean the keyboard, especially around the "C" key, to remove any dust or debris that may be stuck.
- Loose Keycap: Check if the "C" keycap is loose and reattach it.
- Keyboard Cable: Check if the keyboard cable is damaged or loose, try changing the USB port or using a different cable.
- Keyboard Failure: If none of the above methods solve the problem, it may be a hardware failure of the keyboard itself. We recommend replacing the keyboard or sending it for repair.
Thank you.
