I accidently disconnected chat prematurely. Bottomline - This optical drive no longer functions in Windows 11 (old PC or new laptop). I've seen ASUS documentation indicating that any BW-16D1X-U produced after a date in 2020 will not work in Windows 11. According to the label, this unit was produced December 2019. If I've understood the current, Win11 will not support - at least "as is". Are there any workaround if is this unit for all intensive purpose "dead".
