MyAsusZentalkUser@MyAsusZentalkUserSystem: BR1100FKA with Pentium Silver N6000 CPU and 8GB RAM (BR1100, BR1100F).
Under both Windows 10 and 11, I am experienced degraded CPU performance after installing the Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology (DTT) driver provided by Asus (from both MyAsus or Asus support website). Tried with version V8.7.10700.22502 and V8.7.10402.20432. Everything gets very laggy and slower as soon as I’m trying to do basic multitasking activities.
To troubleshoot, I have been performing benchmarks with Geekbench 5 and realized that the DTT driver severely throttles the Intel N6000 CPU in my unit, especially in multi-core tests. I reinstalled both operating systems to test, and it’s obvious that the Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology driver customized by Asus is severely throttling single and even more multi-core performance. Instead of scores around 730/1500, it drops between 400 to 600 in single core and 700 to 1000 in multi-core.
For reference, this website notebookcheck.net shows 1897 as the Geekbench 5.4 Multi-Core performance for the N6000. For comparison, I also ran Geekbench under Ubuntu Linux and got much higher scores overall. Not as high as 1897, but consistently around 750/1500.
I know that the Vivobook 13 also runs on a N6000, and based on many reviews I’ve read for the Vivobook, it seems this unit is running a lot faster overall. I’d be very pleased if the BR1100FKA ran at the same speeds as the Vivobook 13…
In case Asus doesn’t want to change their driver, any tips to improve the poor performances? Maybe the use of Throttlestop?

Falcon_ASUSThank you.Regarding the description of this part, may I know your actual operation?
In addition, please provide me the BIOS version and system version you are currently using.
Thank you.
