Battery draining overnight issue

I just brought a new zenfone max pro m1. For a week battery was going fine. But today it had drained 10 percent overnight while the phone was idle. I did not installed any apps recently. The device is running android 8.1.0 feb 2019 security patch that came preinstalled. I haven't updated it yet. Please help me. And which firmware till now is the most stable one without any bugs & battery draining. Please reply 🙏

This is bad. Seems due to bad firmware or something else. Are you ready to backup and reset data amd cache via recovery mode to setup android freshly?
Recovery mode entered by pressing vol down plus power after switching off phone.
30% battery drain overnight is serious drain.
Let's see if resetting helps or else try a10beta3.

Before trying this update the google app and disable it. And check overnight again in safe mode.

The above screen shot is after updating all Google apps activated SAFE MODE and charged to 100% once.
Should I repeat charge cycle once again ??

Just today only i had 40% battery at night no internet nothing when i woke up it was switched off...what is going on???

Yes but With google app disabled and battery saver on.
