Yes you are right this happened with many users after 073 update rolled out by Asus with technical glitch. After repeated tweets and email finally Asus HQ responded and taken the defective device into consideration.
They mailed me too, took my phones serial number and now telling me that, its warranty is void, 12 months over. How could they can show us, this type of lame excuses. You can check me on twiiter, Maverick2p is my id, asus didnt responded me yet. 😔
No product of Asus is reliable, everyone has seen it with Asus Max Pro 2. MI, realme, oppo, vivo, market is popular. But due to the cheapness of Asus, no one takes his phone. All the company offers customized software like Call Recording, Memory Cleaner, Optimization offers many features, but Asus offers a phone with poor and flawed software that has neither good camera nor call audio, even a file manager which has taken away. I Have to no buy any electronic item of this product again. This company also did not provide basic software in 13000 phones. Asus cannot rely on any electronic product. I will oppose every product everywhere. If Asus did not do the basic software update then file manager app, video audio player, phone optimization and cache cleaner, gallery app. Asus will be opposed on Twitter and all social sites.
We should ideally sue them. Since our phones have been rendered unusable it has resulted in a lot of stress, financial loss and what not. You need a smartphone for everything today. And even knowing this Asus is not even ready to address that they have an issue. Absolutely terrible.
Hi Everyone...I faced the same problem..my asus max pro m2 was just one year and ten days old, it automatically switch off then it I tried to reboot it - it stuck on logo only...earlier I contacted local repiar guys they said recovery menthod is not working then I showed to autorized customer service center and those guys said the motherboard is fucked up..how is this even possible..!!! for repair they quoated me 80% of actual cost of phone...Really..??
I saw many blogs and comments/reviews on ecom websites many people having the same issue...
company needs to be involved as this is major issue...
please if anyboday has found any trick to solve this issue without replacing motherboard pls contact me on... [email protected]
Its a major issue m2 India users faced, if you bought the device in India, check with RC again. If you are not Indian, then it may cause by falling or breaking.

i wont say their products are bad but their software department is dong very bad
