Zenbook UX325 No Mic.
Brand new Zenbook UX325. Windows 10.
Out of the box, the microphone does not connect to camera or WhatsApp. It works with the Google verbal search, but not apps.
I’ve been through every how-to; sound, privacy, security, camera, microphone, apps. I’ve uninstalled every conceivable driver and spent hours on Google.
Nothing has worked, not even a Windows refresh.
It must be something simple, but I can’t find it.
Anyone????

Well, persistence does pay off. I followed some instructions to check for needed driver updates with My Asus and yes, there were newer versions for audio and camera.
I installed them and all is well.
Funny thing is checking in Device Manager I was told I had the latest of everything.
So I learned something new this evening.
