widevine L3 why??? i did nothing but today I cant see netflix HD suddenly

Unfortunately only answer mods are giving in the DMs to every user is to bring the device to service center as the widevine key is deleted from device. I have this issue happened to me after that service center resolved my issue but the issue happened to me AGAIN today. So I have to visit service center again. This is totally unacceptable and it is clearly a software bug.

@yashpandya295 that's what I have been stating in every thread..taking to service center is not a solution. Asus should acknowledge this and release a fix throught next OTA. @ARP_ASUS

I want see netflix HD ㅠ.ㅜ.
I had this issue before and they replaced my device. Now after being fine for a good 2 months, it has gone from level 1 to 3. This is unacceptable from a supposedly premium smartphone.
so what can I do?

for my security level 3 to 1 ??
I got level 3 after netflix did not open. I got the error: Unable to connect to netflix. Please try again. I tried opening twice and then closed the app and then it finally opened, then I checked to find my widevine level had gone from 1 to 3. @Anders_ASUS s_ASUS could this issue be directly related to netflix?
@Anders_ASUS @Gustav i have two rog phone 3 at my house both on the latest ww. 99....
one of the device has downgraded security of l3 where as the other still stands at l1... both the devices are stock and have not been unlocked.
what is happening...??? it is not fair to get the consumer go to the service centre for this to get it fixed by flashing the device and loosing data... as some of the post clearly state that even after that either the service centre has not been able to fix it and if they do it has again been downgraded to l3... this is certainly a bug that u guys need to answer to and service centre should not be the only solution.... even oneplus had the similar issue which was fixed by an fota update... Something needs to be done...

@Shane Fernandes my thoughts exact. So many issues with this junk phone. Sad part is Asus is not even coming forward and accepting these issues. Rather they are busy working on their next phone and trying to have these fixes worked upon on the new one. What about their exisiting customers? Pathetic service and dev team.
First and last time I buy an Asus mobile device. Absolutely atrocious support not even acknowledging the widevine issue.
Still people will buy this and next gen just because of ROG brand name.

As quoted earlier , going to a service center is not a fix as many cases have poped up where the fix was temporary and the issue circled back. This should be fixed via a FOTA. I have not rooted or done any changes to my phone

As far as I can record, lambdaplus is the only user who reported that didn't get his issue fixed at the first time repair on ZenTalk due to another scenario, we are very sorry and the issue is quickly solved under our tracking.
