I am using Android 11 version. In my area 5g service is started but in Rog 5 device didn't detect 5g network after some R&D I am sharing trick for 5g.
1) phone --> Dial *#*#4636#*#* and select "preferred network type " as "NR"
2) setting -> network and internet ->mobile network ->enable auto 5g and 5g sa mode.
