Rog phone 6 doesn't recognize AT&T sim

Please tell us some basic information before asking for help:
Model Name:ASUS_A12201_F
Firmware Version:WW-32.2810.2209.197
Rooted or not:no
Frequency of Occurrence:always
Phone doesn't recognize AT&T sim card. It can see the phone number but can't access network or make calls or use data. Says it's an unknown network. Took the phone to the AT&T store and they said it wasn't on the approved list yet even though the ROG phone 5 is. Anything I can do? Should I bother waiting for it to be approved if ever?

that is strange, I have same phone on same firmware version, and everything works, including 5G, 4G, SMS, MMS, Visual Voicemail & VOLTE, I am having a different issue but recognizing the SIM is not a problem for me, I bought mine directly from ASUS. Did you try to get a newer SIM from AT&T? did you call to activate your phone with them on the phone?

Yes, I did try to call them about activating the phone but they kept pointing to their white list and saying the phone wasn't on it. I can try asking for a newer SIM though.

Hello, which vendor did you get your phone from?

I have a 6 pro on att and everything works fine. Bought the phone straight from asus and went into a corporate store to activate. Zero issues.
Make sure you're at a corporate store, they are willing to try harder and will throw a new sim in.
Verizon was an issue however so avoid them.
