that is strange, I have same phone on same firmware version, and everything works, including 5G, 4G, SMS, MMS, Visual Voicemail & VOLTE, I am having a different issue but recognizing the SIM is not a problem for me, I bought mine directly from ASUS. ...

it safe to assume this problem and mine is the same & same carries AT&T and same problem this random reboots during call, and even some times not in calls at allROG Phone 6 on AT&T DUO Video calls and network disconnecting — ZenTalk (asus.com)
