unstable performance

Please tell us some basic information before asking for help:
- Model Name: ROG Phone 3
- Firmware Version: latest (.....2012.122)
- Rooted or not : not
- Frequency of Occurrence: always
- APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app): antutu benchmark 8.5.2 and pubg mobile 1.1.0
In addition to information above, please also provide as much details as you can, e.g., using scenario, what troubleshooting you've already done, screenshot, etc.
========================================
Why does the GPU score in the antutu benchmark for ROG PHONE 3 sometimes get lower scores than some other smartphones that use the usual SOC SNAPDRAGON 865? For example BLACKSHARK 3 and XIAOMI MI 10T PRO whose GPU scores can reach 250 thousand points. I play PUBG in smooth + 90fps settings too often frame drops, while other smartphones are not like rog phone 3, why?

It's most likely they just have better devs that know how to optimize software for better performance. Imo, we have really lazy devs. They can't fix the display, don't take simple feature requests from us even though the mods claim they "forwarded" it to them and just fix stuff that don't need fixing instead of focusing on the real problems. We basically just paid for the hardware and not the service.
do you actually know how much work goes into android?
you cant just ship bug fixes every single day, there is A LOT of QA and testing that is involved
you fix the screen? the wifi might break
fix the wifi? the power button might cause a reboot
it happens ALL the time with custom roms, and the phones not even 6 months old - so stop being so entitled if you wanted a phone that gets updates weekly, go buy a pixel or a samsung
when you say FPS drops, what do they drop down too? is it mid to high 80's or is it like less than 45 kinda thing?
Uhhh yeah i know. It's obviously a lot of work yet the other guys seem to be doing a lot better than us. Why is that? Oh. Maybe it's because their employees actually know what they're doing and know how to work hard! Btw, i couldn't care less about the updates, frequent updates don't automatically mean "problem resolved". Get that?
Antutu isn't 100% accurate so don't trust it's benchmarks score much
If you run the test a couple of times everytime results will vary
Plus if you're rooted and on an custom rom or custom kernels it's normal to get an higher score on any phone, antutu averages the scores for a particular model and doesn't have any criteria so yeah there's that
Plus lastly antutu is owned by Xiaomi's founder 👀
It was recently removed from playstore due to connections with cheetah mobile whose all apps were removed due to privacy concerns
Unstable? Bruh,a stable 90 FPS on ultra HD with water reflections ain't unstable
What? Your stable in ultra hd 90fps?
smell that? the bs that rises from your mouth?
Mi 10T Pro 5G GPU: 218719
Black Shark 3 GPU: 218974
Well yeah, when overclocked it drops to maybe 87 or 84,and only in payload
I think I want to test Pubg and see how it runs on my phone. Heard 90fps can now be simply activated by changing a config file, so far true?
Yes,it is a file called active.sav, search for it on YouTube
But don't forget to set the game on ultra HD before hand,it took me a while to crack it and have both on lobby and on match 90 FPS
But if you have any questions, feel free to ask for a guide,I can give you what I know or at least what I used
Found configs and such but they all cap at HDR 90fps. As soon as I try to ultra HD it gets back to 30fps lmao.
EDIT: nvm i got it, sometimes I do stupid things lmao.
So yeah can confirm the game runs at 90fps stable without any drops even at ultra HD with water reflection on (which disabled AA which is kinda poop)
Can you share that active.sav file which runs pubg with ultra hd + 90fps
Go on YouTube and search for any tutorial that specifically says 90 FPS on any device, then follow it step by step and you will understand better how to change the values
Ok thanks 😊.....
Ill give you a simple rundown. Go into pubg, set to ultra hd, then exit the game.
Find the file in sdcard/android/data/com.tencent.ig/files/UE4Game/ShadowTracker/ShadowTracker/Saved/Savegames and there find yprøur active.sav file and upload it to saveitonline.com there change all fps values to 7, override your old active save and you done.
That being said, modifying the sav file can result in ban. Hence be careful. If you want the ban free method then edit config files which only allows 90fps up to HDR setting
Great, thank a lot 😊😀
Can we do 120fps?
On the Chinese version yes,and also I can assure you since I play everyday with this cracked 90 FPS method, that doing this won't get you banned
This method can get you banned and will most likely get you banned someday. Editing the active.sav file can give you things like no grass, lower recoil and aimbot, it's currently a problem in PubG mobile so the devs will one day require some sort of signing on the file and once their files arent signed anymore aka values have been modified, you will recieve a ban regardless if you have edited the file for cheating or performance increase on higher settings.
