I just brought a new zenfone max pro m1. For a week battery was going fine. But today it had drained 10 percent overnight while the phone was idle. I did not installed any apps recently. The device is running android 8.1.0 feb 2019 security patch that came preinstalled. I haven't updated it yet. Please help me. And which firmware till now is the most stable one without any bugs & battery draining. Please reply 🙏

I also have this problem for a month now 55% of battery is drained overnight.
I also experienced the same problem, but haven't found a solution
Isn't this a software issue?
Hi there, kindly help us with the following information to find a solution to your query.
i. Charge the battery to 100% & use as per your normal usage pattern
ii. When the battery strength reaches 10%, go to settings = Battery => Tap on the battery icon & share the graph
iii. settings => Battery => Check the screen & share the same
Also, please follow below steps may improve battery backup:
1. Close apps that are not used (Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, etc.)
2. Adjust sleep time and brightness (Settings > Display)
3. Boost memory when you see memory consumption is high with no app running,
4. check for background running applications, stop/disable unwanted apps, you can manage apps from auto-start manager.
I have also facing 15-20 % battery drain overnight tho' phone is idle ,
the firmaware version is Android 9 June-20 patch
Followed the guidelines charged to 100% & rest idle for overnight, found in the morning battery at 83%.
Checked for battery usage found no apps.
So How can battery drains 17% overnight though phone is idle.
