Firmware Version: QKQ1.WW_Phone-17.2017.1911.407-2019 1223
Rooted or not: Not Rooted
Frequency of Occurrence: NA
APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app): NA

How to go about doing any manual update of latest (May 2020) update for Firmware. "Downloading from website, storing / saving in the main directory of internal storage (of phone) and restarting the phone" did not work to update the firmware.

I think it's a pie update and you are on android 10 beta.
Being on Android 10 Beta 1, all you can do is update to Android 10 Beta 2.
Manually update it from the official firmware page.
You can't downgrade to pie .082 where may security patch is available from Android 10 beta .407.first you have to downgrade to pie .059 with the link given in asus website from there you can upgrade to .082 where may security patch is given
