I saw a few threads about Zenfone being connected to a charger overnight and one could do anything by hard reset in the morning. It happened to me for the first time this morning. I have had the phone for one year, on the dot.
One thing that I changed the day before was battery care settings. I turned on stable charging and limited charging to 90% instead of 100%.
I turned off the stable charging now. We'll see if this was the reason.
