Fast charging is not working in zenfone5z
I always try to blow air through mouth in charging slot which clears dust for slot as well as i blow air in cable plug in as fast n energetic i can for me happened 1 nce n now its fixed also try cable pinching a bit in between centre and plug in pin try playing with it keeping ur charging on n see if that works if phone again shows u fast charging after cable pinchs then u need to replace ur cable
Not a perfect solution for ur problem but hopeful if it can help u like me

Also i would suggest u take ur device to service centre for exact solution and fix before visiting backup all ur imp data as well
