========================================
I have just Downloaded and Installed the Android 10 update from the official site and these are some of the feedbacks.
The overall look has changed and it is very nice.
Miss the ambient display when there is a notification while the screen is locked which was there on earlier Android 9 version.
The flash light option on the taskbar is seemed kind of locked. Cannot be accessed. ( Issue solved by Restarting the phone)
The Dark mode works perfectly fine in all apps esp that of Google.
The new Boot animation has also changed and its good.
The Camera User Interface has also changed and it looks neat.
Comments
Flashlight issue happens commonly and can be fixed by restarting the device.
Thank u Shahed. It worked...... 😃
What about max pro m2?
In the website its mentioned your data will be cleared. Did you loose the data ?
Expect within a week or two.
2nd point clearly says that.
Ya I know. But some users are telling their data is safe and is not deleted. Thats why I asked.
When will the company release android 10 for max pro M1 as an OTA update rather than manually updating it ?
Can u please tell me. Earphones bass is better than previous 10 beta update, i was facing some low bass in earphone but when i restart device problem solved,
Earphone volume and bass is better than previous android 10 build. But main speaker quality is garbage
I didn't get any fota updates from asus for 1 year. It's quite frustrating for me that I haven't got any pie updates also
I am posting a screenshot of it
See my security patch also
Nope Data Is Not lost Still u got to take backup of your Data if anything goes wrong.
Download .063 update manually from Asus website and put it in internal storage (don't put in any folder). Restart the device, a notification will pop-up saying "New Update detected", click on it. Wait for the system to finish the update. System restart's on it's own. You'll be updated to Android 9 pie with April security patch.
TRY CLEARING DATA OF THE FOTA SERVICE APP AND RESTARTING THE PHONE AND RETRY FOR CHECK UPDATE ..STILL IT DOES NOT WORK THEN GO FOR UPGRADING MANUALLY FROM ASUS OFFICIAL WEBSITE.
nop.. i did not loose any data. The update take some time .. be patient..
please update it manually
Did you remove the password before installing ? Also you downloaded from Asus website, Right ?
Double checking coz a lot of important data is in my phone and I cant afford to loose them.
I didn't removed password before installing the 424 firmware. And my data is safe.
But, it is recommended to take backup before updating or installing any update through FOTA or Manually for your safer side. As you can't blame any one if you loose data.
