Ya we need security updates monthly . PLS Asus team every other mobile companies are also upgrading like SAMSUNG ONE UI 2.0 for releasing more frequent updates. ASUS UPDATES ARE LAGGING BEHIND TOO MUCH .PLS GUYS GIVE US GOOD SIFTWARE EXPERIENCE
Well fun fact is ROG2 on beta Android 10 is on Dec security patch... You just have to wait for Stable Android 10 I suppose, or if you desperate, flash Android 10 beta 2?
What are you downloading and installing that requires you to have latest Security Updates anyways? If you aren't doing sketchy things.. you don't even really need it.
Someone could just send me a malicious link to exploit page and boom. Gone. Security patches are pro-active measures. Not for just some weird guy using sketchy sites.

Android 10 is using project mainline.. so will we get security update through play store?
You will get some via Play Store, some via firmware. Mainline doesn't specifically replace security updates.
But where is the secure update? Or will we get secured every 3 month? So I guess that next will be in Feb/Mar when Android 10 will come.
They already mentioned bi-monthly updates.
Ya i know that is why i am asking them to change to monthly
Fun fact, Zenfone M2 Pro is on December 2019 security patch while ROG Phone 2 is not

Hope you understand platform updates and security patches are not same. Why would anyone use beta just for latest security patch? Smh..

The best form of Security is yourself.
