This brand is just not listening to the customers
Quality Control is a major problem here. This is motherboard manufacturer's fault. Asus dev team can't help hardware problems. I have no idea why some people have problems weeks after purchase - number of reports stating that it started just after getting software update seems too high for coincidence.
But there is no confirmation regarding the same that it's a hardware issue
Mods are redirecting everyone to service centers and that's all info we have. There aren't any technical details publicly available
That's just misguiding the buyers instead they should test the updates properly before releasing it publicly as we bought a premium handset that what Asus says but that doesn't match with their actions.
The restarting is not due to bad code or any of the sort. Yes, there are a number of reports that it has happened after the update and I'm sure this is true for some people but for most, it will happen some time after the update and it really hasn't anything to do with the fact that they updated. It would have happened regardless if they updated or not.
Then what's the solution for this problem
These hardware issue normally show within the first 3 weeks. The only way to fix it is to swap the motherboard. If we could fix this with software, then we would. The part and labor cost is way, way, waaaay more expensive making changes to our software.
no there is no solution .... no use of service center too
I posted a method of going about a repair process in India in this topic. Should be effective
Yesterday night my mobile restarted itself but again there is no sign of any problem.. everything works fine...
Submitted my Asus 6Z for repair at service center today. Let us see how much time Asus service center gonna take to repair the unit.
Bro just get it to the service center , i made the same mistake as i thought it was just a random restart but finally my unit got dead and i have to submit it to the service center.
What do you mean, when you say "first 3 weeks"? 3 weeks from purchase?
All he means to say that ASUS 6z was a mistake. It was a miscreation.
I get that feel, this is my 2nd device and now this has gone faulty too.
first 3 weeks of use. But it will of course depend on your device and how frequently you use it.
I surely hope not. That would be a lot of bad luck. I'm really sorry if this is the case. If you need to send the 2nd device for repair, then check with our support if they can give you special treatment since you've already had one faulty device
I have already contacted them and they asked me to take it to the service center. I have taken it to service center and an hour ago they have updated me that the issue is with motherboard.
