My Zenfone 4 max ASUS_X00ID home button and recent app button not working

Although the return button is fine.This all happened after my phone restarted on its own.After that,I noticed there are new buttons added in my lock screen (camera button,message button and call button) and the Home button and recent app button not working.Also,my notification bar cant be pulled down where the shortcuts Bluetooth,wifi,mobile data can be easily accessed.

If the situation remain the same in "Safe Mode", please try "the Factory Reset"
Setting>System>Reset options>Factory data reset
Please note that once the Factory Reset is completed, all data, apps, settings and personal information will be deleted. Please back up your phone before operate the steps.

Recent app button not working on my Zenfone 3. It is working fine in "Safe Mode". How do i fix it in normal mode?

Good day. If function works well in "Safe Mode", indicating that the issue is triggered by 3rd party Apps. Please check on any disturbance from the installed 3rd party Apps.

Furthermore, please try "the Factory Reset"
Setting>System>Reset>Factory data reset
Kindly note that once the Factory Reset is completed, all data, apps, settings and personal information will be deleted.
