This issue is a headache ever since ive updated my max plus into OREO last november. Seems like ASUS abandoned us Max Plus users. Sad😢

Please try to use other different sim card for a check. Please check it in safe mode. (https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1005163) Please help to confirm, Thank you:)
