Hello, I recently got my hands an Asus Zenfone 3 Max (ZC553KL) for free, which is a pretty good deal. Anyway, the first thing I do with it is update it to the latest version (FW WW_15.0200.1812.503). Now, I want to root my phone with Magisk, but realize all guide on unlocking bootloader requires Nougat FW. do I need to downgrade? if yes, how do I update and root it so that I could use Oreo with Magisk on this phone?
