I am trying to upgrade firmware to the latest version WW-16.2017.2002.061
1)Copied the firmware zip file to internal storage in the root directory and rebooted the phone. No update file has been detected
2) Copy the firmware zip file to external SD card and boot into recovery and selected the firmware zip file.
It says wrong version of firmware

You said you are on .407 firmware which is the Android 10 beta AOSP version and you tried to install .061 version directly from the .407 beta 10, then it was quite obvious to face such error of failed update man.
There's a DOWNGRADE VERSION AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO INSTALLED BETA ROM AND WANT TO DOWNGRADE TO THE PIE VERSION AGAIN. YOU GUYS CANNOT DIRECTLY INSTALL THE .061 FIRMWARE VERSION FROM THE .407 BETA FIRMWARE. JUST GO TO THE SUPPORT PAGE AND DOWNLOAD THE "DOWNGRADE FIRMWARE VERSION" WHICH WOULD TAKE YOU TO THE PIE .059 VERSION FIRST AND THEN YOU CAN DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE .061 VERSION. READ THE DESCRIPTION OF THAT DOWNGRADE FIRMWARE VERSION CAREFULLY AND FOLLOW ALL STEPS TO DOWNLOAD AND PROCEED TO DOWNGRADE TO THE PIE .059 VERSION. CHECK MY SCREENSHOT.
