Question related to Screen Saver/Something Else

I have noticed that sometimes after press the power button screen goes off and then I see ambient display as like the display appears before the screen unlock only difference is during unlock at the bottom it shows related to fingerprint or facelock and after power button press it shows at the bottom the battery percentage remaining or if charging the charging behaviour like Rapidly Charging or normal charging and the remaining time to full charge.
Now the problem is sometimes I couldn't see and sometimes it appears and I am unable to find that option where I can control this...
When the feature is on before the display off it shows the ambient display.
When the feature is off the screen brightness level goes to 0% and then screen lock.

So now I don't know where the right option.
Can anybody help me to figure this out ?

Hi, we'd request you follow the below steps:
1. Clear system cache.
2. Try the same under safe mode:
Hold the power button for 5 seconds => When the screen flashes with option => Press & hold power option => You will get an option to restart in safe mode
3. If still you face the issue factory reset your phone after taking a full backup.
