veeharish2005It is indeed a Feature if user intends to call an emergency.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/132368#Comment_132368
1. This feature is a requirement if they want to sell the device in the country according to my knowledge.
2. My old lenovo, lg and my nokia 8.1 ,6.1plus also does the same.

It is indeed a Feature if user intends to call an emergency.
But if it accidentally calling the emergency number without users knowledge, its a bug. By what I described, I think its clear that its a bug.

nidhin3Latest and greatest firmware from Asus. Regarding reset, I think that should be the last step one shall resort to. A bug free software means, end user should have a seamless experience.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/132851#Comment_132851

I think its happening only in your device. Well, I did not encounter this issue while unlocking via fingerprint scanner. I believe that is the case with majority of users here. Try to Reset your device. If that is not working it might be a hardware issue.
