This bar is supposed to disappear automatically after swipe. But, it stays there. This is another visual bug of the Quickstep default launcher, like the one where Network indication disappears on the lockscreen on random occasions.
Temporary fix: Restart device or Force Stop followed by clearing cache of Quickstep from app settings.🤷🏻♂️😔
